Lorenzo Vigas recounts the search for identity in 'The Box'.

Vigas, winner of the Golden Lion in Venice for Desde Allá, has lived in Mexico for more than 20 years, so he knows the violent reality that afflicts the country and included glimpses of it in his feature film. His film shows both the maquiladoras and the disappearance of women, elements with which the characters coexist and make the little boy wonder what he is willing to do to have a father.
